Fan.LizardQueen.net started out on April 7th, 2008 at fan.creativeburst.org and was then called Fanatique. I decided to start a collective after I applied for my first fanlisting: the fanlisting for Yahoo! Answers (now closed). After about a month, I decided to buy a domain for my collective. Since Fanatique wasn't available as a domain, I went to my second choice, Aficionado. That wasn't available, and I stuck an extra "f" in and an "s" on the end. Afficionados.org was available, so I bought it! On July 5th, however, I decided on a more original name, as I discovered I was not the only one to base my collective name on the word aficionado. I decided on lockedinmyheart.com. In August, I was bored of the domain (one month later!?!). I decided to move everything to fan.geekish.nu and hate.geekish.nu. Then, in January 2009, I decided to move my blog to creativeburst.org again but I kept geekish.nu just for my listings, which each now had their own subdomains. Then, in mid-March 2009, I decided I was fed up with geekish.nu, because shortly after I had moved my collective to fan.geekish.nu, I found another fanlisting collective with the same name. Here I though I had a really cool, original name! Anyway, I used the funds in my NameCheap account I got from winning their Twitter contest to buy imaginarylove.net. A while later I moved everything to awesomesauce.org. After a while, wanting to cut back on domain names and yet again getting tired of the current domain, I moved my collective to a subdomain, and that is where it resides today.
